Awards & Recognition
Each year the Vermont Planners Association recognizes citizen planners, outstanding projects and professional planners. Annual nominations for awards are requested in spring with an early summer submission deadline. Award winners are announced at the fall VPA Annual Meeting.

- Plan of the Year
- Citizen Planner of the Year
- Citizen Planning Board, Commission or Committee of the Year
- Professional Planner of the Year

How to nominate
Each year, the Vermont Planners Association issues a request for nominations. That request, and the related critera and nomination form are posted below. 2011 Nominations are being accepted now.
Nominations shall consist of a completed nomination form, plus the materials listed on the form. Nominations shall be submitted no later than Tuesday, July 5, 2011 to: VPA Awards Committee c/o bikeped@gmavt.net.
