We are especially looking for more plan and people nominations. All you professional planners must know a colleague that has been going above and beyond the call of duty. And we know that you work with exceptional volunteers. Please don’t feel shy about nominating your own plan – whether it is a town plan, regional plan, a visioning plan, a modal plan, etc. Once all nominations are received, the VPA Awards Committee sends the nominations to the New Hampshire Planners Association for review. NHPA provides their recommendations to the VPA Excutive Committee for adoption. An awards ceremony for recipients will be held at the Vermont State House in April 2017 at a time to be announced. VPA awardees are fowarded to the Northern New England Chapter of the American Planners Association for consideration in August.
The Vermont Planners Association is now accepting nominations for the 2017 Awards competition. Nominations shall be submitted electronically using the appropriate form no later than Friday, February 15, 2017 by email to Polly McMurtry at firstname.lastname@example.org with a subject line specifying “VPA Awards.”
